Maynard James Keenan — the enigmatic singer of such acts as Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer — paid a visit to one of the most famous MMA gyms in the country, Jackson Wink MMA Academy.
Jackson Wink is, of course, the home of such famous MMA stars as former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon “Bones” Jones, former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion and Featherweight title contender Holly Holm, and former UFC Interim Welterweight Champion Carlos Condit.
Keenan, a BJJ purple belt, is no stranger to combat sports, either.
Holm and Condit posted some pictures of MJK’s visit to the famous MMA academy on their Instagram accounts:
Maynard wasn’t just there to take pictures, either. It looks like he donned his gi and got in some technique or some rolling with Carlos.
