A fast-paced, scramble-heavy match between Josh Hinger and Matheus Diniz ended with the latter getting his hand raised at Kasai 6.
This was the third time that Diniz and Hinger had faced off against each other at the black belt level, with Hinger coming away with the win in both of their previous meetups. This time, however, both athletes had moments of dominance in their match, and following a failed flying armbar from Hinger, Diniz was able to take his opponent’s back and finish the match with a rear naked choke.
