Losing weight isn’t easy, whether you are trying to eat less, or taking regular exercise. It takes patience and commitment, and of course an incentive helps, too.
Walmart may not be much of an incentive to most of us, but 31-year-old Pasquale Brocco of Arizona decided that the giant retailer would make a great incentive – and it actually worked, as the man lost 330 pounds by walking to Walmart daily.
Brocco was understandably so ashamed and so fed up with his 605 pound frame that he decided to walk to and from the store whenever he needed a meal – a total distance of two miles. Along with a drastic change in his diet, the routine actually worked, as Brocco lost an impressive 300 pounds in just a few years.
If you are desperately trying to lose weight, you might want to try the same thing – just don’t buy donuts when you get to the store.
