After winning the biggest titles in BJJ and making the move to MMA, where she holds a perfect record with five wins across Invicta and Legacy, Mackenzie Dern is now ready to debut in the UFC.
The information, coming from MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani, is that Dern will step into the Octagon on March 3rd at UFC 222, in Las Vegas. She will be facing Ashley Yoder.
Dern fought in MMA for the first time in 2016. Her latest bout, at Invicta FC 26, ended with her third submission win — an armbar in round 3.
Yoder (5w, 2l) arrived in the UFC undefeated, but has since suffered her first two losses, to Justine Kish and Angela Hill.
