Three months after her successful UFC debut at UFC 222, Mackenzie Dern will be returning to the octagon this May to take on Amanda Cooper at UFC 224.
Both Cooper and Dern are coming off of victories in the UFC. Amanda defeated former UFC Strawweight Angela Magana late last year at UFC 218 via second-round TKO. Dern is still undefeated in mixed martial arts, riding a six-fight win streak.
UFC 224 is set to go down on May 12 in Rio de Janeiro. The event will be headlined by a women’s bantamweight match between Champion Amanda Nunes and challenger Raquel Pennington. Vitor Belfort will also be taking on Lyoto Machida, and Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza will be taking on Kelvin Gastelum.
