Former UFC champion, Lyoto Machida will return to fight, but will not be in an MMA fight. He’s still suspended for doping and shouldn’t return so soon to the Octagon. But he was invited to face Jake Shields on August 13 at the charity event MusclePharm Submit Cancer, which has partnered with the Fight to Win event.

Lyoto Machida is famous for his karate, but he is also a black belt in Jiu-Jitsu. He has trained with the greats of the gentle art as Fabricio Werdum and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and currently has done lessons with Rener and Rayron Gracie in California.

Jake Shields is a black belt under Cesar Gracie and has already shown great skill in ground fighting. In MMA, he has won 12 wins by submission. And already he faced good names of Jiu-Jitsu as Leandro Lo, Marcelo Garcia and Saulo Ribeiro.

In addition to this fight, it was announced the presence of four times absolute world champion Marcus Buchecha. He will face the former UFC fighter Eliot Marshall. Another fight that was be announced is between the UFC welterweight Neil Magny and Ryan Drexler.
