Roger Gracie impressed the world during the first decade of the 21st century. He submitted nearly every one of his opponents on his way to winning an unprecedented ten Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu world titles as a black-belt.
Then he went on to compete in MMA.
During his absence, a new champion emerged, Marcus Buchecha, who equaled his ten world titles and even drew with Roger in a 2012 duel.
In July of 2017, Kyra Gracie’s promotion, Gracie Pro, pitted these two titans against each other in a showdown that became the last fight before the retirement of the one considered by many as the GOAT, Roger Gracie. Journalist Daniel Amaral covered the epic event, and the 16-minute-long documentary.
