Strikeforce former champion, the American Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal landed in Belém do Pará in order to train with Lyoto Machida and help him in final preparations for the battle for the light heavyweight title, against the dreaded Jon Jones in UFC 140, n December 10, in Toronto, Canada.

Besides him, another luxury guest to help the karateka is the boxer Luiz Dórea, Junior Cigano, Rodrigo Minotauro and Anderson Silva’s boxing trainer.

“King Mo’s arrival is very important. He was Strikeforce Champion and has a tremendous fighting experience, which will make him a high-level partner for Lyoto. We hope he helps him to deal with Jon Jones. Dórea is also coming to put the finishing touches. Lyoto is already 85%, 90% ready. With just a few tweaks he will be 100% ready for the fight”, said Chinzo Machida, Lyoto’s brother and corner, for MMAmania.com.
