Kelvin Gastelum is leaving Shanghai tonight with what, in his words, is the biggest win of his life.
Gastelum took on former UFC Middleweight Champion “The Count” Michael Bisping in the main event of UFC Shanghai.
Kelvin took the center of the cage. Bisping hit a nice 1-2 then got an overhand right, but Gastelum threw some strikes of his own and still chased The Count around the cage. 1-2 kick by Bisping but Kelvin hit back. Nice exchanges by both. Body kick by Gastelum. Kelvin stayed light on his feet as the crowd cheered “Bisping!” Huge 1-2 by Gastelum and Bisping was out!

Kelvin Gastelum won by knockout!
Both fighters showed an immense amount of respect for each other, though. Kelvin walked up to his opponent when he was up and hugged him. Bisping congratulated his opponent on his win. They hugged and shook hands again after the result was announced, too.
Gastelum later called the fight “the biggest win of my life” then called out UFC Interim Middleweight Champion Robert Whittaker.
Is Kelvin Gastelum ready for some UFC gold?
