Two-time Olympic gold medalist and 2019 PFL Lightweight Champion Kayla Harrison brought home a conclusive win last night at PFL 3, where she quickly defeated Mariana Morais in the first round of the 2021 lightweight tournament.
After Harrison opened the fight with a kick, Morais responded with a jab. After that, though, the fight belonged to Harrison, who clinched up with her opponent and forced her against the fence. Harrison had Morais down on the ground in under a minute and transitioned to mount, and from there, she battered her until the referee stopped the action and declared Harrison the winner via TKO in just a minute and 23 seconds.
