As teenage jiu-jitsu prodigies, twins Kade and Tye Ruotolo have already been established as highly dedicated (and, yes, talented) young athletes. As it turns out, this same attitude also applies to their academic careers, and the brothers have now graduated high school as juniors.
Tye and Kade’s mother, Nicole Ruotolo, shared her sons’ milestone in a post on social media:
“I’m so proud of these boys! Kade and Tye just graduated high school their junior year. It was a plan we came up with before starting high school and the first two years were not that easy as they loaded up with classes. Some days I thought we might have made a mistake but we worked through the tough days and both boys were able to stick to the plan and achieve their goals. We owe a lot to the teachers who had our back during these last 8 years of homeschool as well. Ever since they were 4 or 5, they always said they wanted to be Jiu Jitsu guys when they grew up. It has never changed after all of these years. Their passion for Jiu jitsu seems endless and their plans for their future sound exciting. I believe they will be successful however the most important thing to me is that they continue to be happy. I hope they take what they have learned and continue to grow to be the best they can be.
Love you Kade and Tye more than anything
Graduates of 2020“
