Jungle Fight: Pulga remains unbeaten

This Saturday, the Jungle Fight promotion set up shop in Rio de Janeiro’s Cidade de Deus community, the setting for the movie “City of God.” And the big name of the night was Alexandre “Pulga” Pimentel, a Francisco Toco black belt who didn’t need to fall back on his Jiu-Jitsu skills to notch an eleventh win in his unbeaten career. Facing Udi Lima, Pimentel showed his striking has been coming along nicely, as he landed a devastating upper cut that knocked his experienced opponent out.

Another who showcased the sweet science on the night was Neilson Gomes, who found his distance handily and connected with solid strikes to put away Eliene Pit in the opening round.
