Just ahead of his big rematch against Kamaru Usman, UFC welterweight fighter Jorge Masvidal has announced that he’s teamed up with hip-hop artist Anuel AA to start his own bare-knuckle MMA promotion, which has been named the Gamebred Fighting Championship.

The promotion is set to have its debut in Miami, Florida, on June 25. Names of athletes competing on the card have not yet been publicly announced.
According to a report from MMA Fighting, Bareknuckle TV has a one-year broadcasting deal with the promotion. The fights will take place under standard MMA rules, and fighter contracts will allow competing athletes to also fight for the UFC if the opportunity presents itself.
The GFC will not exclusively take place in Florida, but as bare-knuckle fighting isn’t legal in every state, regular MMA fights will take place where bare-knuckle fighting isn’t allowed, per the report.
