The President of the UFC, Dana White reported that things are going very well for Jon Jones with his USADA case.
Jones failed a drug test before his UFC 200 bout with Daniel Cormier. Due to the failed test, he was taken off the card two days before the fight was to take place. Jones followed up White’s statement by announcing that he has plans to fight in the octagon very soon.
Anthony Johnson beat Glover Teixeira at UFC 202. According to White, the Jones vs. Johnson fight would be a title eliminator match. White also says the Jones-Johnson fight would determine who will face Daniel Cormier for the light heavyweight championship.
Jones and Johnson were to meet once before, but Jones had legal issues that forced the UFC to take him off the card.
If the fight takes place, it should be an exciting bout.
