UFC champion Jon Jones embraced the Season of Giving this year by participating in the distribution of coats and free lunch to those who needed them.
Jones first announced the event on December 22, letting his audience in New Mexico know where he’d be and what he’d be giving out.
” Tomorrow Monday, December 23 I’ll be handing out winter coats at a free lunch for the public.
Location: Steelbridge – 2021
2nd St. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102
Time: 11:00am – 1:00pm “
Jones delivered on his promise, and he joined multiple other people in handing out coats and lunch. Jones shared photos from the event on his social media:
Whether it was a simple photo op for good publicity, a genuine gesture of goodwill, or somewhere in between, it’s always great when people in need can get access to a hot meal and clothes they need to stay warm during the winter, and it’s good to see a member of the martial arts community doing a good deed.
