Joanna Jedrzejczyk is healing up well following her incredible fight with current strawweight champion Zhang Weili earlier this month.
The co-main event of UFC 248 left both fighters battered and bruised, but Jedrzejczyk’s forehead hematoma was so huge that it temporarily disfigured her. Her head was swollen to the point that she was unrecognizable, and comparisons between her pre-fight and post-fight appearance went viral.
Now, the fighter has shared a photo of herself in self-quarantine, and although she still has some bruising, the swelling has gone down considerably, and she looks like her old self again.
“What’s up?!
Still fighting with jet lag so I woke up at noon But did a nice cardio run – 7km, two online interviews and I’m ready to do my studies online. Keep on busy during quarantine. Be safe guys! Love ya all. Thank u for the support. Talk to ya soon. How are ya feeling? “
After that action-packed fight, there’s no doubt we’ll be seeing more of this athlete soon once the pandemic is over and she’s all healed up.
