Three jiu-jitsu competitors were robbed in Chicago on Sunday, according to police.
The three competitors — two women and one man — were in the city to compete in the Chicago Summer International Open.
At around 9:15 p.m., the three were confronted by two men, one of whom was armed. The men knocked the Costa Rican visitors to the ground and took their belongings.
According to a friend of one of the victims, the Costa Ricans were shaken up, but thankfully unharmed.
Unfortunately, the suspects are still at large, and police are asking anyone with information to call 312-744-8263.
