While jiu-jitsu’s popularity is growing quickly, there are still many locations throughout the world where BJJ academies are nonexistent.
Brothers Matthew and Jean-Marc de Groot struggled with this very issue where they live in Victoria, BC in Canada. So they decided to start their own jiu-jitsu program, which eventually became the successful Van Isle Jiu-Jitsu academy.
