In a blatant fix, Hermes didn’t lose, but no contest remains

The first official result was that former UFC fighter Hermes França had lost his fight to France’s Ferrid Khede at last Saturday’s XVT event in Costa Rica.

However, received emails contesting the result. Hermes, who dominated the bout, was declared the winner by the head referee and even had his arm raised. However, according to witnesses, after pressure from the organization the official result was changed and the belt handed to Ferrrid.

There was a lot of booing from the local crowd, as can be seen in the video below. From the look of it, the three judges handed the Brazilian the win.

The official result now appears as a no contest. Check back with for more news.
