Black belt division requirements
Starting with the worlds 2010, at all IBJJF events it will be mandatory for all black belts to carry their federation membership ID cards. It is required to present the ID card the event officials prior to the match.
IBJJF Membership IDs and affiliated federation IDs accepted for this event; IBJJF (for non US, Brazil, France, Japan and Portugal residents the IBJJF ID is applicable), USBJJF ID for US residents, CBJJ ID for Brazil Residents, Federation of Japan ID for Japan residents, Federation of France ID for France residents and Federation of Portugal ID for Portugal residents.
For the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2010, the IBJJF will release complimentary membership IDs for the black belts registered in the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2010. This includes the coaches with athletes registered in the event.
In order to apply for your membership ID card:
You need to have the 2 forms (student ID and academy registration) filled and signed by a IBJJF certified instructor with a minimum of 2 degrees on his/her Black Belt,.
– Copy of picture ID.
– 1 photo
Scan all the images (picture ID, photo and application form) and send via email to rick@ibjjf.com . May 21st is the deadline. No applications will be accepted after.

World Jiu-Jitsu Championship Sunday event
IBJJF will issue passes to the coaches of athletes qualified for Sunday’s event (June 6).
Qualified coaches with passes will be able to follow their athletes into the competition area. The coach will be assigned to the designated ring area.
Coaches with passes must leave the competition area after their athletes’ matches are done.
All qualified coaches will be subject to the “Code of conduct for coaches” Coach-conduct code
To qualify as coach and apply for the pass, you must have the rank of black belt and a valid 2010 membership ID – IBJJF, USBJJF, CBJJ, Japan, Portugal and France.
