Pedro Mello was the big standout at the Floripa Open.
The inaugural installment of the Florianopolis International Open was held this Saturday, September 8.
The local athletes dominated the action and put Gracie Florianopolis at the top of the team podium, with 167 points scored.
In the black belt division, two of the team’s athletes ended up making it through to the final of the absolute, with Pedro Mello taking the gold and Rodrigo Motta, the silver.
There were 400 athletes signed up for the competition.
