There is no doubt about it that hockey players are some of the toughest people on planet earth, but against a Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner may be on a whole different level. This theory was nearly put to the test at a an Orange County (California) gym when NHL player Dustin Penner In A Confrontation with BJJ Instructor in Gym Repo.
Dustin Penner was there as a part of a group that was repossessing some of the gym equipment for lack of payment, Penner can be seen on video obtained by TMZ holding the BJJ practitioner back. The police got involved in the matter as well, but they found that the repo team was in the right to collect the gear that was not properly paid for. Although the physicality between the hockey player and the Brazilian jiu-jitsu teacher did not get to bad, it would have been interesting to see who would have come out on top.
