Jiu-jitsu has a lot of real-life applications, and no one knows this better than Tallis Gomes. Gomes is “just” a blue belt in jiu-jitsu, but he’s basically a black belt innovator: he’s the inventor of Singu, which is an Uber-like app that send beauty and personal care professionals, like hair stylists and manicurists, to your own home. He’s made MIT Technology Review’s “35 Innovators Under 30” list and also spend four years as the CEO of Easy Taxi (“the Uber of Brazil”), so if he says that jiu-jitsu is good for business owners, you should probably trust his opinion.
