BJJ World Champion and Rizin fighter Gabi Garcia got into a bit of a scuffle while getting some medical tests done.
According to a video Gabi posted last night, she had an appointment for an MRI in downtown LA. Garcia described the area as “not a good area of LA.”
Gabi went to the front of the line at the place she had to get her medical tests done at, and a woman got angry. Someone else tried to explain to the woman that Gabi went to the front of the line because she had an appointment, but to no avail.
Later, when she was outside, a man in a black Mustang yelled to her. He began berating Gabi for cutting to the front of the line. Garcia didn’t know if he was related to or in a relationship with the woman who got mad at her earlier.
He then criticized the 32-year-old Garcia for her upcoming fight against 53-year-old Shinobu Kandori, scheduled at next month’s Rizin World Grand Prix 2017: Final Round:
“Why you no punch my face, you just accept a fight with old ladies?” Gabi reported him saying.
The man then kicked her “hard” in the leg and drove off.
