Braguinha at the L.A. Open. IBJJF
Last Sunday the Los Angeles Open, an IBJJF competition that counts towards the worldwide rankings, was held in California.
No one there shone brighter than Gustavo Braguinha, a heavyweight who walked out with double gold.
To secure the title in his weight division, he faced Ashur Darmo (Bonsai JJ). After sweeping, passing and mounting, Braguinha attempted the cross choke. Unsuccessful at it, he shifted to an ezequiel — good enough to get the tap-out.
