Absolute ADCC champion / world BJJ champion Claudio Calasans will fight Gordon Ryan in a superfight with no time limit, where only a submission will give one of the fighters the win. A black-belt under Garry Tonon and John Danaher, 21-year-old Gordon Ryan has been getting attention for his perfomances in no-gi matches. Last August he finished Keenan Cornelius via inverted heel hook.
The duel is slated for October 22 in New York at a Grappling Industries event, which will also feature a fight between Marcelo Garcia black-belt pupil Mansher Khera and former UFC athlete Vagner Rocha.
