The 2012 Phoenix International Open was another major success for the IBJJF, last Saturday, April 28.
Our GMA members were present and once again displayed a lot of heart and technique.

Tatsuyo Goya (Alliance Atlanta), senior 2 open class bronze medalist and heavyweight champion
Jeston Pages (BJJ Revolution), master lightweight silver medalist
Antonio Antonioli (Ribeiro JJ), adult open class bronze medalist and heavyweight champion
Carlos Eduardo Farias (Roberto Traven BJJ), adult ultra-heavyweight silver medalist
Daniel Savery (Best Way BJJ), adult heavyweight bronze medalist
Philipe Della Monica (Gracie Barra), adult lightweight champion
Brown belt
João Pierre Vieira (Megaton BJJ), senior 1 middleweight and open class champion
Dustin Peek (Clube de Jiu-Jitsu Pit Bull), master open class silver medalist and heavyweight champion
Beneil Dariush (Ralph Garacie OC), adult open class and heavyweight champion
Brendon Barlow (Redhouse BJJ/Brasa), adult superheavy champion
Furthermore, the team competition was won by Gustavo Dantas’s Nova União Arizona Team. Gracie Barra took runner-up. Rodrigo Medeiros’s BJJ Revolution Team came third.
