Gilbert Burns may still be riding the high of an unanimous decision victory over Jorge Masvidal at UFC 287, but the Brazilian grappling whiz appears to have wasted no time booking his next gig. Burns has already been scheduled for a showdown against Belal Mahammad at UFC 288 for Saturday, May 6, per announcements on the UFC’s social media channels.
According to the UFC, Burns vs Muhammad will be a five-round headliner. They’ll be joined on the card by fellow Brazilian jiu-jitsu ace Kron Gracie, who returns to the Octagon to face Charles Jourdain after more than three years without a fight.
