Fight fans are one step closer to what could be the biggest comeback in mixed martial arts history.
Former UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre — a man who could be considered one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time — has put pen to paper and signed for his fight against reigning Middleweight Champion “The Count” Michael Bisping.
Finally signing my UFC 217 Bout Agreement vs. Michael Bisping for Nov. 4th at MSG – Get ready for a big night in NYC!!!

GSP has been absent from mixed martial arts action since his win over Johny Hendricks back in 2013. Since then, fans have been bombarded with rumors of his eventual return.
St-Pierre finally agreed to return to action earlier this year. He was originally slated to face Bisping this summer, but fight was called off when GSP said he wouldn’t be ready to fight until November.
It appears the UFC was willing to wait, as UFC 217 will go off on November 4.
Of course, as mixed martial arts fans are only too aware, there’s no guarantee the match will go off until both fighters are in the cage.
However, the chances of MMA fans seeing Georges St-Pierre in action again just went up — a lot!
