Georges St-Pierre — known to many MMA fans simply as GSP — is widely considered one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time. He was defeated only twice in his 11-year MMA run and holds numerous titles in the sport he helped make famous. Among these titles are: most wins in UFC title fights (12), second most wins in UFC history (19), and most successful title defenses in the UFC welterweight division (9).
But when St-Pierre stood in the presence of one of MMA’s all-time legends — Fedor Emelianenko — he couldn’t help but show “The Last Emperor” the respect he deserved. GSP actually got down on his knees to shake Fedor’s hand.
I guess Emeilianenko lives up to his nickname.
