If you’ve been living for Garry Tonon’s success in the MMA world, good news — you’ll get to see him fight again on May 17 in Singapore.
Tonon’s next fight with ONE Championship will take place at the promotion’s event that’s titled “Enter the Dragon.” He’ll be facing Yoshiki Nakahara, who has a current record of 12-4.
Tonon’s switch from jiu-jitsu to MMA has thus far shown that he can be dominant in the cage, just as he is on the mats. He currently has a 4-0 record, with half of those wins coming via submission and half coming via TKO. His last fight (against Anthony Engelen) took place on March 31, meaning he’ll have only gone a month and a half without fighting by the time Enter the Dragon takes place.
