After winning his Strikeforce debut, Andre Galvao gets back to his roots. A natural born tournament, the Jiu-Jitsu black belt has no fear of going out on a limb, even with the minimal gi training he has put in as of late, and will be in action at the World Pro, to take place in Abu Dhabi this coming 16th and 17th of April.

Announcement of the invitation arrived at the newsroom this Tuesday morning. According to GRACIEMAG.com’s follow-up investigations, Galvao is already in the United Arab Emirates, where he will watch Anderson Silva’s title defense against Demian Maia at UFC 112.

The fighter’s last appearance on the mats was in Barcelona, at ADCC 2009. On the occasion, earning him a silver medal, he lost the decider to Braulio Estima, falling to a reverse triangle.

Could a rematch happen in Abu Dhabi? Check out the chapters to come here on GRACIEMAG.com.
