BJJ black belt and multiple-time World and ADCC gold medalist Gabi Garcia will be making her standing-rules-only debut against pro-wrestler and MMA fighter Megumi Yabushita. The match will take place at the Girls S-Cup, an annual Japanese women’s kickboxing tournament.
The fight will mark Gabi’s first match under shoot boxing rules, which allow punches, elbows, knees, kicks, standing throws, and standing submissions.
On July 30, Gabi will attempt to extend her undefeated MMA streak when she fights in her fifth professional mixed martial arts match at Rizin Fighting Federation’s World Grand Prix.
