Gabi Garcia Lands First No Contest Of MMA Career Due To Eye Poke

Gabi Garcia is having some issues with the rules in Japanese fighting lately. This month, she has fought twice, and both of her matches ended in a no contest.

First, in her Shootboxing debut against 45-year-old Megumi Yabushita, Garcia landed a illegal soccer kick that forced the referee to end the match.

Now, this morning, in a fight against Russia’s Oksana Gagloeva, Garcia’s fight ended in just sixteen seconds after the Brazilian landed an illegal eye poke.

However, Garcia can still boast an undefeated mixed martial arts career, as well as a competitive BJJ career filled with gold medals.
