Former Strikeforce Welterweight Champion and UFC title contender Nick Diaz was on the Dr. Dabber Dab Lab to help promote the plant that has been most associated with his name throughout his career – marijuana.
When asked how he felt about his “face being in the cannabis industry,” Diaz responded:
I think it’s a good thing. I’d like to lift some of the negative stigma away. I’m a professional athlete, and I don’t do drugs. Just weed. Chemical free.
As the screenshot below shows, Nick was more than eager to partake in some of the free samples.
Along with his brother Nate, Nick Diaz is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt under Cesar Gracie. He is one of the biggest draws in mixed martial arts and has had matches with legends in the sport such as Georges St-Pierre, Anderson Silva, and BJ Penn. He originally lost his last match against Anderson Silva back in 2015, but the win was overturned to a No Contest when both fighters tested positive for banned substances.
