Ladies and gentlemen, Francis Ngannou is a force to be reckoned with!
The heavyweight Frenchman took on number one heavyweight contender Alistair Overeem in the co-main event of UFC 218…and put his lights out!
In Round 1, Overeem ran at Francis with a left hook then went in for a clinch. Ngannou pressed Overeem against the cage, though. The referee called for them to “work.” Francis went for a stomp and knee.
The referee broke them up due to inaction.
