The once-bitter rivalry between Michael Bisping and Luke Rockhold seems to have cooled down enough for these two athletes to have a friendly roll together at Jason Parillo’s RVCA gym.
Yesterday, Bisping shared a video of him and Rockhold grappling, calling his former opponent one of his “old friends.” While the two weren’t always chummy with each other and, at one point, had a serious rivalry during the prime of their competitive careers in the UFC, both of them were all smiles during their casual grappling round seen in the video, which was shared in an Instagram post.
Rockhold and Bisping faced off twice in the mid-2010s, with Bisping winning their first meeting via second-round guillotine choke and Rockhold winning the rematch in an upset that saw him knock out Bisping in round one at UFC 199.
