MMA veteran Travis Fulton has been indicted by a grand jury on multiple charges of child pornography, according to an original report from the WCF Courier.
Per the indictment, which was unsealed last week when Fulton appeared in court, the accused is charged with sexual exploitation of a child, possession of child pornography and receipt of child pornography. Fulton entered a “not guilty” plea and is currently being detained, and he is to go to trial in April.
According to the Courier, the indictment states that Fulton tried to convince a minor to engage in sexual content using a Canon Powershot camera back in November. Additionally, he is accused of possession of a flash drive with pornography depicting a child under the age of twelve between November of 2018 and November of 2020.
Fulton is also awaiting trial on additional charges stemming from a separate incident in September 2019, when he allegedly punched a woman in the head and back in Waterloo, Iowa. He is charged with willful injury and domestic assault, and he reportedly threatened to kill the alleged victim if she spoke with the police. Per the Courier, both Fulton and the woman were detained after they were seen with each other at a hotel at the end of January, violating a restraining order.
Fulton has over 300 MMA fights to his name and last fought in 2019.
