Mega Kombat held its inaugural event last Saturday in the Brazilian city of Minas Gerais. The promoters feel it was a watershed in Brazilian domestic MMA, and MK packed the stands at Clube Filadélfia, served up riveting bouts in the most ample-sized cage in Latin America, was attended by big names from world MMA, eye-pleasing ring girls and, most importantly, treated the crowd and athletes with the utmost respect.
“It was a pleasure to fight at the event and I’ll be back in action at Mega Kombat again. The event had excellent infrastructure behind it and I’m confident the organization will go far,” remarks Wendel Negão, who overcame André Chatuba in one of the evening’s main events.
And, keeping with the promotions growth strategy, MK 2 is coming right up in September. Soon the precise date and location will be announced. Stay tuned…
