Light heavyweight Vinny Magalhaes continued his Professional Fight League winning streak and pursuit of the million dollar champion’s purse in style, soaring to victory over Bozigit Ataev with a flying triangle. (He transitioned to the kimura for the win.) The win solidifies the PFL finals, with Magalhaes facing Sean O’Connell in December. With this defeat of Ataev, Magalhaes has notably trounced all four of his PFL competitors in less than two minutes. O’Connell is a worthy opponent but will have to find a way to withstand Magalhaes’ explosive opening power when the two square off on Dec. 31st.
