Fans the world over were pleased with what they saw during the open training session this Wednesday at the Mandalay Bay convention center, in Las Vegas, where UFC 126 will take place Saturday. The fighters showed a bit of what they’ve been working on in the lead-up to the show and mingled with the crowd.
Headliners Vitor Belfort and Anderson Silva appeared at different times. One of the first on the scene was Belfort, who was received with applause from the local crowd.
Now Anderson Silva was the last to arrive and brought the spectators to their feet. Whether training with Rafael Feijão or his son Kalil, the Spider joked around and showered the fans with attention.
Stalwart sluggers like Forrest Griffin and Rich Franklin also brought excitement to the group that gathered in the convention center.
