Fight 2 Win CEO, Seth Daniels, has just announced on Facebook that the North American grappling promotion has a proposed schedule for it’s return. After previously announcing back at the beginning of March that they would not be holding any events until May, the promotion is now looking to host three different events this month, followed by another four in June, with these events spread across five cities in four different states. It is worth mentioning that this schedule is entirely subject to change and Daniels himself even made clear that events could happen on either days of the weekend, or maybe even both.
It also seems like Fight 2 Win is following the template laid down by Chael Sonnen’s Submission Underground when planning their return as both promotions have closed all proposed events to the public until further notice. Submission Underground 13 gave us our first taste of professional grappling in two months on April 26th when we got to see Craig Jones rip through Vinny Magalhaes’ leg and the promotion has already started scheduling fights like Craig Jones v Vagner Rocha for it’s 14th event on May 31st. Although Fight 2 Win is wasting no time in getting back to the business of booking fights and by the time of the second SUG post-Coronavirus event, F2W could potentially have put on between three and six events.
