Fight 2 Win Prepares For Their 126th Event Before Doing Production For ADCC 2019

Fight 2 Win has put on 125 events, with their 126th happening tomorrow evening. Next week, though, they’ll be doing the production for their biggest event yet, which also happens to be the biggest event in jiu-jitsu: the ADCC Championship.

Before they give the “Olympics of jiu-jitsu” the audio and visuals it deserves, though, the promotion will be returning to San Diego to shine the spotlight on more of the California-based BJJ athletes looking to showcase their skills on their stage. Given San Diego’s reputation for producing top-quality jiu-jitsu competitors, we can expect high-level talent at every belt level at F2W 126.

The main event of the evening will feature Felipe Bezerra vs. Gustavo Batista. Bezerra, who won Brazilian Nationals last year, has made himself a familiar face at F2W, having competed back to back at F2W 122 and 123. His opponent, a World and Pans champion who most recently won gold at King of the Mats, also has two F2W matches under his belt. Both of these athletes will be eager to prove themselves in the main event with so many people watching them, and we can expect a high-intensity match that reflects the pressure they’ll be feeling.

Guthierry Barbosa will be making his black belt debut on the F2W stage tomorrow night as well. Since being promoted earlier this year, he’s already established himself as a force to be reckoned with, winning both the Las Vegas Open and the Chicago Summer Open. But even though he was an accomplished brown belt, winning both Pans and Euros this year, he’ll have his work cut out for him against Marcio Andre, who’s long established himself as an elite black belt competitor. Andre has won both of his Fight 2 Win matches so far, and a No-Gi World Champion last year and a silver medalist at Worlds this year, he’s proven that he’s hungry for success.

With many other elite old- and new-school competitors taking to the stage tomorrow night, including Baret Yoshida, Tubby Alequin, and purple belt phenom Jessa Khan, this is the perfect event to get you excited about flashy competitive jiu-jitsu before ADCC next week. Check out the preview below to see more matches that will premiere tomorrow night, and make sure you’re watching when these competitors and many more put on their best performance on FloGrappling!
