Fellipe displays the two latest additions to his collection.
The 2019 American Nationals took place last weekend in Las Vegas and had in its brackets, as well as lots of fierce local talent, some very strong Brazilian fighters.
Fellipe Andrew, from Zenith, again did a good job and walked away with two gold medals. First in the super-heavy division, where he beat Wellington Peroto (One JJ), and then in the absolute, in whose final he defeated John Hansen (Rodrigo Vaghi BJJ).
Checkmat’s Nathalie Ribeiro did almost as well in the women’s section. After taking silver at lightweight — bested by Gabrielle McComb (Gracie Humaitá) — Nathalie had it in her to enter the absolute and beat Claudia do Val (De la Riva), the favorite.
