Felipe Preguiça’s inverted triangle at the Abu Dhabi World Pro

At the Abu Dhabi World Pro qualifiers, held April 26th, Felipe Preguiça managed to secure his spot in the final bracket of the 94kg division by beating his Brazilian competition.

With a versatile game and a knack for submissions, he was able to advanced to the Friday matches. In the final of the qualifier, he applied a nice inverted triangle.

After controlling and attempting an attack, Preguiça saw the chance to trap his opponent in the inverted triangle. With the technique sunk in place, he made a transition with an adjustment of his body to maximize the squeeze. Watch it play out here:
