Fabricio Werdum is back in the win column!
After a majority decision loss to Alistair Overeem a few months ago at UFC 213, Vai Cavalo has come back with a vengeance!
Werdum took on late replacement Walt Harris. Harris was planning on going up against a striker tonight at UFC 216 in Las Vegas, but instead he got stuck with one of — if not the — best grappler in the heavyweight division…and it showed.
Werdum went in with a high kick early. He missed completely, but he followed it up with a single leg takedown. Fabricio moved quickly to mount and grapevined Harris’ legs.

Walt tried to get up, but he gave up his back. From there, Fabricio grabbed an arm, sat back, and ended the fight with an armbar before the match could hit the two minute mark.
