Fabricio Werdum Also Out Of UFC 196 With foot and back injuries

Next weekends UFC 196 card has undergone another incredibly huge change as Fabricio Werdum pulls out of UFC 196 with injury. Just a few days after Cain Velasquez was forced off the event with a back injury, UFC Heavyweight Champion Fabricio Werdum pulls out of the event after suffering both foot and back injuries. Stipe Miocic was set to replace Velasquez and challenge for the heavyweight title, his status is currently in the air for the event right now. If no replacement were to step in and fight Miocic, a welterweight division affair between Johny Hendricks and Stephen Thompson would serve as the main event of the card. It is less than a month into 2016 for the Ultimate Fighting Championships and the injury bug has already struck and destroyed the main event twice for one of the biggest cards the UFC puts on each year, the Super Bowl weekend event.
