The polarizing Erberth Santos is coming back to the Fight 2 Win stage this Saturday, and after his initial opponent pulled out, he’ll now be facing Tim Spriggs.
Santos was originally slated to face Nicholas Meregali, who was slammed by F2W CEO Seth Daniels for pulling out of the match after having agreed to it. It wasn’t long before Daniels found a replacement for Meregali, though, and now, 2019 ADCC competitor Spriggs will be facing Santos in a black belt heavyweight gi title match. Both competitors have both proven their mettle on the F2W stage before, and since they’re both coming off wins for the promotion, they’ll be carrying some great momentum going into their main event match.
Another exciting title on the line will be the 205lb brown belt masters no-gi title. The Jiu-Jitsu Times’ own Emil Fischer, known for his on-stage antics and colorful fashion sense, will be going up against Easton BJJ’s Bruce Bugbee. Both athletes have proven that they can put on an impressive display of grappling while keeping things highly entertaining, so this won’t be a match you’ll want to miss.
This post-Halloween card has plenty more entertaining matches to look forward to. Keep an eye out for Karen Antunes vs. Tubby Alequin, John Combs vs. Garrett Aldrich, Mauricio Oliveira vs. Manuel Ribamar, and many more before the main event kicks off.
