Elisabeth Clay has an opponent for the upcoming Who’s Number One event, and this match will be a can’t-miss.
FloGrappling has announced that Clay will be facing off against Gabi Garcia in their October 2 event, which features a headlining match between Gordon Ryan and Matheus Diniz.

The match will likely be the biggest challenge so far for Clay, which is truly saying something given the recent victories she’s racked up. The 20-year-old brown belt, who qualified for ADCC as a 16-year-old blue belt, has defeated some big names recently, including Kendall Reusing and Luiza Monteiro at Fight 2 Win. She’s had a successful run at WNO so far, submitting both Chelsah Lyons and Maggie Grindatti in her appearances for the promotion.
Even so, Clay is a clear underdog going into this match simply because of Garcia’s extensive list of accolades. The four-time ADCC champion and multiple-time World and Pans champion is coming off a win against Kendall Reusing at F2W 142, and her losses are few and far between. Garcia is well-matched with Clay, and fans will be eager to see how both grapplers approach this bout.
This superfight will be fifteen minutes and submission-only. If no submission is achieved by the end of the match, the winner will be determined by decision.
Who’s Number One: Ryan vs. Diniz will take place on October 2 and can be streamed live on FloGrappling.
