Another big matchup has been announced for January’s Fight 2 Win 136, and you won’t want to miss it.
[forminator_poll id=”117390″]The promotion has announced that a black belt match between Edwin Najmi and Johnny Tama will take place at the event, providing another exciting battle before the main event between Gabi Garcia and Gabrieli Pessanha.
Najmi, a 2016 Pans champion who competed at ADCC last year, went 1-1 for his F2W matches in 2019. He’ll be hoping to start the year off with a bang by submitting Tama on the stage in L.A., but it won’t be easy for him. Tama has built up an impressive jiu-jitsu resume over the years, and he hit his highest point just weeks ago at No-Gi Worlds when he became the first Ecuadorian black belt IBJJF World Champion. Their match will be one between two hungry athletes at the top of their game, and neither one will be underestimating the other as they try to build positive momentum for their competitive career in 2020.
Fight 2 Win 136 will take place on January 24 in Los Angeles, CA, and can be streamed live on FloGrappling.
